A Risque Rendezvous Empty A Risque Rendezvous

It was wrong. It was risky. It was dangerous. But most of all, it was thrilling. That was the thought dominating John Keegan’s mind as he slunk into the Care of Magical Creatures shed. Oh, he could probably lose his Prefect status over this, but then again, he had done much worse things and not been caught. Having slept with the Headmaster’s daughter for one. But he lived for the thrill. It was even better than the rush in the rodeo arena, riding the biggest, toughest and meanest bulls the American southwest could produce; which was similar to one of his reasons for sneaking in here in the first place.

John had heard about one of the prize beasts in the school stables: a Re’em, a giant, gold-haired ox from the American Great Plains. If any creature could create a thrill close to the one in the muggle rodeo ring, it was this extremely rare monster. He’d muscled the wildest mustangs and fiercest bulls to standstills, occasionally with the animal not surviving the extreme stress. He hadn’t been bucked since he was eleven. But this, this would be the bullride of a lifetime.

Which brought him to the second reason for being here: he had invited one of the loveliest of ladies to see, for what is the greatest show on earth without an audience? Simply a rehearsal. And there are no rehearsals in bullriding. His audience today was to be Robyn, a wonderful friend and more. Today was a day to show off, prove his power, and maybe break something.

John found the stall, a rather large one, which only better served his purposes. The formidable Re’em was pacing around, pawing the earthen floor and grunting. John smiled and set oversized saddle on the ground. The first trick would be to get the damn thing close enough to the gate to drop the saddle on top, that or use a placing charm. Either way, he was gearing up for the ride of his life…

A Risque Rendezvous Empty Re: A Risque Rendezvous

Robyn left her dorm. She was excited. Knowing she was doing something she shouldn't be was always something to make her excited. She loved knowing that she was sneaking around. She loved it even more because she was doing it with John. He was a prefect and he always messed around doing things he shouldn't be. That's why she was friends with him. She liked knowing she could do dumb things with him and get away with it.

This time though, they were doing something they could probably get suspended for. It was dangerous. Playing with animals when they didn't have the proper training or the proper guidance. When Robyn was in the Care of Magical Creatures Shed for class it was exhilarating. Being in there when she shouldn't be had to be even better.

Robyn made her way across the campus grounds towards the shed. It was getting closer to dinner, but she wasn't hungry. She pushed open the door to the shed and automatically saw John. It would of been hard to miss him. "Hey" Conversation was never important to her. She figured John had figured that out by now. She smiled but then looked at the animal John was looking at. A Re'em. She should have known. "John, be careful. Don't do anything extremely dumb." She patted her pocket. She knew he would do something dumb and she wanted to make sure she had her wand just in case she needed to fix something.
